Can I fix a phone that's been rained on?

A few Months ago, my phone was rained on , and then I dried it out over night, but it still wouldnt work , is there anyway or anything than can save my phone ?

Probably not at this point. Last winter my LG1400 fell out of my pocket into a puddle for 5 sec. or so. I IMMEDIATELY popped the battery out, then shock and blew any water out and let it sit open for a day. It still is working. So part of the save was luck but I think part was getting the battery out before the water could short anything.

Dear helpmeemo, Sorry, your warranty will not cover water damage. So you will have to purchase a new phone out of pocket. They will not repair it. Sue…good luck

My sister had a phone from Cing. & my SIL looked at it, who also works for Cing. and said that where the battery goes there was a bright red dot that should be white. Well because this dot was now red any battery my sister put in the phone would ruin the battery. IDK what type of phone you have but I would say that you are better off getting a new phone. Do you have the accidental damage coverage on your phone? That may cover it.

you only waited 1 night?? you should have waited a week thats what i did and mine still barely works
