Can I go blonde?

I know a lot of people ask this question, but I would really like a few opinions… I have very dark hair narually, and I have always dyed it so I have some auburn red in it… I am very bored with it now and I want to try blonde… Im not sure if I can pull it off… Or if I can what shade should I go with??? Please help me : )

Answer #1

you should dye it a dirty blonde with lowlights and highlights in it.

Answer #2

NOOO, don’t dye it blond. You’ve got natural Latino beauty, and beautiful eye-colour. You should dye your hair darker, on very dark chocolate brown, or burgundy black. But don’t got even a bit lighter than you are now : x

Answer #3

youd have to bleach it then pick a shade of blonde you like. and then every single time you wanted to get your roots done, hello bleach. its bad for your head. but it might look cute. I suggest a caramel color. like…a…yeah. dark caramel would look good on you.

Answer #4

Please please PLEASE let a pro do it! As a former pro myself, I’ve seen the mistakes. I promise it’s worth it. If you had lighter hair naturally, it won’t be that big of a deal. But since your hair is darker, and with some red in it, a pro is your best bet.

Tip: Reds are the hardest color to keep fresh, AND they are the hardest color to get rid of. How weird is that?

Answer #5

Maybe but your red hair is nice, but if its not natural you might want cut it short

Answer #6

Please wait till all the red dye is it, it sort of goes horribly wrong otherwise :-S I think you could try blonde highlights, and just keep adding to them, then you wouldn’t be blonde all over, which might be too drastic. I went from dark to blonde gradually, but blonde dye does make hair very weak and frizzy, so I dyed it dark again and let it come out. I think you’d look good blonde, but not block-blonde because that might be too drastic. x

Answer #7

I think a hazel would look good =>

Answer #8

DONT DYE IT BLONDE!!! at least not til the red is out…

I tried doing that from a “medium reddish brown” (what the box said) to “Sandy blonde” and all it did was turn my hair orange like a horible color orange and then it started striping my hair (caue of the routes) and there wasnt anything I could do about it til my hair grew out

I think you would make a fine dirty blonde but I wouldnt go very light cause it will just make your skin tone look not natural

Answer #9

usually when someone’s hair is dark and they try blond, it usually goes to a dark blond. it doesn’t always work the way they want it to. maybe you should just try light brown. I think it would look much better.

Answer #10

i think a caramel color would look good :)
