Can I dread my hair with a perm in it ?
I am a black women and I have a perm in my hair an I really want to lock my hair my hair without having to cut it any ideas
no . you will get new growth which is your stronger, natural hair, and the permed hair will break off because it is weaker, and b/c of presure. it will snap at the where the line of newgrowth meets the permed hair .
to get dreads you have t go completly natural and chemical free. thats why dreads have a rough and sorta nappy look becauseu have to start over without any type of perm or relaxer. I suggest that your go a long while without perms and then cut it so you can make sure it looks the proper way. hope I helped!!!
