Can I avoid saggy skin after weightloss?

I am losing weight currently and I am worried about having saggy skin in my ‘fatter areas’ (such as my stomach and upper arms) after I lose the weight. Is there anything I can do that will reduce or stop this from happening? Unfortunately I’m sure that it is inevitable but if anybody has any ideas I’d be really grateful.

At your age as long as you use weight in a gradual healthy way you should have no problem with sagging skin. For a little extra help, you should always drink plenty of water and there are lots of lotions on the market to keep skin youthful and hydrated.

Answer #2

You’re young enough that your skin has much elastisity. It will just be a matter of time depending on how much weight you end up losing. Your skin will snap back eventually.

the only way to help stop it from happenein is to gradually loose the weifght theslower you loose it, the less saggy skin youll have but if your loosing a lot of weight it is inevitable to have some saggy skin and if its too much the only way to fix it is with surgery
