Can Ginnie Pigs travel

We are moving to Oklahoma City, OK from Saint Louis, MO its about 10 hours in driving. Is it safe for the Ginnie Pig to travel or not we have had her for about 8 months now My daughter got her after her birds had passed away after 10 years. And I cant see her giving up her ginnie pig. So we need to know will it hurt the ginnie pig to travel. Thanks, Saint Louis MOM

Answer #1

Well my ferrets have traveled from chicago to arizona, back to chicago again. They were both find. Keep it hydrated and do not leave the cage in sunlight and also do not leave the animal in the car if you stop to eat or anything else. Invest in a animal purse to bring it in the stores or restuarants with you. Should travel perfectly fine though, I wouldn’t worry.

Answer #2
