Can defrosted food be refrozen?
My freezer door (it’s in the garage) was left open and all the food has completely thawed. Can all types of meats, TV dinners, pies, and vegetables be refrozen. Any info will be appreciated from anyone that has experience with this. Thank you.
no you can’t refreeze it. some of it, like meat and stuff, if it hasn’t gone bad by now then you might be able to cook it and it should be fine
I have expierence in this field..lol.. being I have kids..lol.. and some type of foods you can but for the most part no but however you can cook some and refreez the cooked portion one rule of thumb if it is meat product or contains meat or any animal fats then nope you have to cook it and then freeze it
