I make cookies a lot but they keep getting burned, what can I do to avoide this...please and thx
Cook them for less time.
Cookies continue to bake even after they're out of the oven, so take them out a few minutes sooner than the recipe calls for.
You can also double-pan...place one baking sheet under the other to help absorb some of the direct heat from your oven's element.
You have to take them out of the oven before they look done. Same with brownies. You don't leave them in the oven til its 'golden brown.' usually they have a time range of how long you leave them in the oven on the package... try following that
Air bake sheets are great. Also remember that when cookies are done they still have a dough look to them until they cool. Just keep an eye on them and use a spatula to check the botton during baking.
you might want to check your oven's settings. that used to happen to me,and we found out it was on speed bake mode.
Thx!!!
