Why is it burning when I pee?

I just became sexually active not too long ago, like less than a month ago, and ever since, it has really burned when I pee. when I first start peeing it doesnt hurt, but when you get those last couple drops it burns and when I have to go really bad and I dont it begins to burn. I dont know if this has to do with the sex or something completely different. I’m planning to go to see a gyno sometime in the next month or so to get birth control and to just get a check up… do you think I should go sooner, or what do you think that this could be?

Sounds like an infection…it may only be thrush but that can be very uncomfortable, you should go see your dr asap to see what it is and get it treated

I would go to your family doctor before you gyno, it could be a urinary tract infection.

maybe you drunk something hot or if you have an infection… Simple Just go to the doctor

Sounds like a bladder infection! Sometimes you can “flush out” a bladder infection on your own, by drinking LOTS of water and CRANBERRY juice- also- there is Over the Counter medication at Drugstores for bladder infections- If it continues after trying these things, then see a doctor to get antibiotics! If a bladder infection is not treated, it will spread to your kidneys, and that could be serious!
