How do you burn a CD using a laptop?
I’ve never copied a CD to a blank disc on my laptop but I want to make a present for a friend’s birthday. Since there’s only one disc drive, I’m not sure how to do this though. My computer is 5 years old and has Vista on it, if that helps. Thank you!
Download itunes and it has the option to burn a CD.
Copy the tracks onto your computer (it’s called ‘ripping’), then use any burn program to put it onto a blank CD-R. You can find many burn programs on www.downloads.com a site run by C-net which is very reliable - they publish several PC magazines. Many if not most programs can both ‘rip’ and ‘burn’.
Thank you! I was thinking it might be something like that but wasn’t sure and was afraid of ruining my CD if I did something wrong.
