why they dont build the mosque in another part of the city?

I just wonder how telling a group of people they can’t build a religious building in a certain place is much different from segregation… In my opinion it would seem intolerant to deny them the right. I understand the sensitivity of the issue and I guess I can understand why some people would think its wrong. However, I’m inclined to disagree.

I think the answer to that would be ‘its the principle’. How exactly is discriminating against an entire religious group supposed to be respect for the dead. The religion itself was not advocating a suic.ide b0mb.

Because to make them build it in another location is not only incredibly intolerant of a certain religion, which is very hypocritical of america. It would also set a precedent for all of america, where people would begin to protest the building of a mosque in their area.

Also if the mosque was not allowed to be built there, it would send the image that all muslims should feel responsible, and in-fact are partly to blame for 9/11, and that is simply rediculous to identify a whole group in a certain way based on the actions of a few.
