Did you brave any of the Boxing Day sales on December 26?

My hubby wanted a game that was on for half price - we waited in line for over an hour just to pay for it, and that’s in a small city. I can just imagine how the bigger cities fared.

We braved aftershocks in Christchurch, I went out and brought a new ipod and a thousand dollars worth of new clothes

We didn’t go out on boxing day but went out the day after and the mall was so full that people were parking on the hills surrounding it and in the dirt. The clothes shops were full of screaming young women fighting over clothes and the food court was unimaginable. We got stuck on the esculator too :/ Sucks we had no money to spend haha.

You’re braver than me. I was in westfield mall for the 5.8 - there was no way I was going shopping in chch on boxing day!

Definitely not. I didn’t need anything so I saw no point- just a massive money-wasting day. Anyways, I’m mildly claustrophobic. :P
