Did I break the bone in my thumb?
I was trying to crack my knuckles, and I was trying to crack my left thumb & it wouldnt crack, so I kept putting force on it, then I heard a loud snapping sound.. Kinda like bone breakingg. It doesnt hurt super bad.. so?
Seriously. I highly doubt it.
That was probably just a really big crack. You wouldn’t be sitting down to write this question if you broke your thumb. Believe me.
i think youll be fine..but if it becomes brusied or starts to hurt tomorrow to. then i would go to the doctor
The only real way to know is to have an x-ray. If your thumb doesn’t really hurt, and if it can bend okay, then you’re probably fine. Your thumb most likely just cracked really loud.
If it doesnt hurt, its not swollen and you’re not having any trouble with movement I doubt you have done any serious damage. Your bones are pretty strong so they should be able to withstand the sort of pressure you are talking about. I would think the sound would be just the gas releasing.
