im gonna hazard a guess and say that your not impressed by him doing it..

if that is the case then you need to tell him to back off..

as for why hes doing it well only he can answer that.

he may still like you and want to be with you but if you dont want to be with him the best thing you can do is tell him soo he knows and that way he can move on properly instead of trying to hang on to you x

Speaking from experience as being in his situation once, his feelings for you have become rooted as a genuine friendship with you and although the relationship is over, it may be hard for him to just cut you out of his life for good. In my case i tried hard to cut her out, but i couldnt…so just give him time. If you don’t want to go that route, just tell him overwise.
