Boyfriend in jail for 2months & my feelngs are changing what is going on?

He is incarcerated for 2months, he calls all day everyday, if I dont answer he gets his mom to 3way call me & even that doesnt get me to answer. I love him but iv been through ups & downs with him for 3yrs and he now is finally ready to be the man Iv been waiting for. I see it as he is down and out and NOW he sees what I mean to him. Either way we are tryng to let the past go & move forward but its hard for me. We have 2 children together he is 24 & im 22

Other Possible reasons for these feelings: 1)He took too long to change 2)We are apart for a long period of time 3)Im still dwelling on our rocky past

  1. Finally got him where iv been wanting him emotionally but its too late he has already done alot of damage so I careless

You need to take some time for yourself to think this through. This is quite a difficult situation, with children being involved.

Ask yourself these questions:

  1. Did we go through more ups then we did downs?
  2. Is it worth sticking it out for the children’s sake?
  3. Does he really make me happy?
  4. Is he really the “changed” man he says he is OR is he only saying it to keep me around/held down?
  5. Is he causing me more stress?
  6. Can we really work this out with him being locked away?

There are probably more questions you’ll end up asking yourself, but those are just some of the main ones that popped into my head. I hope everything works out for you two and the children. :3

If he is getting out soon give him one more chance.
