How do I tell my boyfriend that I want a child someday?

You should wait until you’ve both been going out for some time before yous both just make a baby. Make sure your relationship is healthy (if not, don’t think that having a baby will make you both closer together)

If you want a child lets say, 1 or maybe 2 years from now then just sit him down and tell him you have important news. Don’t say it infront of a lot of people, just make it you and him as this is serious and he might just say that he doesnt want a kid. He knows you’ll want a kid someday anyway but it’s best to just tell him when yous both have alone time.

Say something like “How would you like being a dad?”

There’s a huge difference between “I want a child someday” and “I want a child someday with YOU”…..Saying it in general doesn’t put him on the spot….yet it conveys the fact that you DO want a child……someday.

The thing is he has made it clear he doesn’t want kids, ever, and I don’t want a kid now, but within the next 5 years, and Yes, I want it with him. I am not finatually able to support a kid yet. At first it was fine, but I have been thinking about my future lately and I know I want him in it, and I want a baby in it too.
