Boot camp on mac

I know the general concepts of bootcamp wit its compatibility with pc on mac. But does anyone have it and use it?I want to know if it is worth all of the trouble and money…I hear if the pc side of your bootcamp gets a virus it will sometiimes carry over to the mac side.. Anyone with the experience with it just let me know if you can id apreciate it…gracias

Yes, it’s worth it if you want to run heavy-duty windows programs on your mac. If your needs are more modest (eg, practically anything but games or heavy duty image or photo editing software), you might want to take a look at VMWare Fusion - it’ll let you run windows applications inside OSX.

And no, a virus that your windows installation gets can’t be ‘transmitted’ to OSX.
