Is the new Bonnie and Clyde mini series worth watching? What is it about exactly?
Whether or not it's "worth watching" is strictly a personal preference, but if you enjoy programs about historical events and crime, then it may be of interest to you.
The program is based on a true story. Clyde Barrow, who was a notorious armed robber is taken by Bonnie Parker who was a waitress at the time. As their relationship grows, so does their seemingly endless array of bank robberies, which would be known to the world as one of the most heinous crime sprees in history.
Unfortunately for history buffs, the story being told is ripe with inaccuracies. For example, Bonnie is being portrayed as the intellect behind the robberies when it was, in fact, Clyde who led the team as Bonnie followed along.
However, the miniseries is meant to entertain, rather than inform, so if changing the details a little doesn't affect your ability to simply enjoy the program, then yes - it could be something you may enjoy watching.
It is the story of Bonnie and Clyde, I think it's worth watching, I watched the first past last night and plan to finish watching tonight
