Why is it that when I blow my nose black thing comes out, and it looks like eyeliner?
it might be dried blood, or nose hair im pretty sure its nothing else unless your finger was full of something black and u stuck it in your nose

It could be dirt or dried blood..try a nasal spray.
Well, you breathe air, and small particles, in through your nose. The small particles (dirt, ashes, dust, ect..) get caught in your nose hairs, you blow your nose, the stuff comes out.
It could be a number of things. It’s most probably that it is either dried blood, or just dust mixed with mucus. Is this a recent thing? If so try to think, have you been anywhere dusty or dirty recently? Train station, cleaning the attic, playing baseball… it could be anything. If you are really concerned, though, a doctor’s visit will put you at ease.

It could be harmless, like dirt or dried blood. But if you’re noticing more mucus than usual, or congestion, you should see a doctor, because it could be a sign of some type of sinus infection. Sinus infections are rarely serious, but they can be persistent and often do not go away without medication.
