How can we get food stamps for my mother-in-law?

if anyone can answer this please do we have tried to get tenn. human services to let my 86 year old mother in law to have food stamps she is pralized from waist down bed fast because she lives with me and my wife she can’t get them altho my wife and i are disabled it takes most of her social security check to b uy bed pads and diapers for her and her some food my wife cooks for her they let on like she can cook for her self and she can’t walk a step help if you know how

first she should try to get disability it doesn’t sound like there is ANY possible way they can turn her down. I would go back to human resources and try and try again. they do base their decision on total house hold income though and each state has a different rate on how they base that

You should be looking at getting foodstamps for yourselves with your mother in law as a dependent.
