What does the term "Bloody" mean and where does it come from?
I.e "That is bloody funny!"
Not bloody as in covered in blood but like the adjective.
I guess it's like the british term for "very" or if you live in New England, "wicked!" so like "that is very funny!" ...'extremely' is also a good synonym. no idea where it comes from though, sorry!
