How can I keep the color in my hair?
My natural hair color is a medium brown and I have dyed it blonde for quite awhile. I decided to go back medium \ dark brown with a red tinit and the color is fading right out. WHat can I do to keep the color? I am using the Pantene red expressions.
Hi,
Red pigment is the hardest to keep in hair. When dying your hair red, use cool water to rinse your hair and that closes the cuticle of the hair shaft - that’ll help a LITTLE bit, but there isn’t much you can do.
Also, switch to Redken dyes if you haven’t (DoubleFusion Reds by Redken gets great reviews).
