Can a blackberry be used anywhere in the world?
Like can you just switch sim cards whereever you are?
not really 100% sure on this but i think you need to notify ur phone company that you are going abroad & they may have a deal for you so you wont hv to pay double. You see in a particular country the price may vary depending on where u go unless u are using a pre paid sim card. if you dont you would have to pay for the line that you are using which can be any rate in that company & country.
My dad’s friend has a simple phone he uses when traveling. The main phone mainly used in the US so he doesnt touch that one. When he is visiting abroad for a few weeks up to a month he used his cheap phone and when there he gets a prepaid calling card from the cheapest providers. So, tech, it only costs him the sim and no worries…
Perhaps you can do the same with the blackberry. Just get the prepaid sim card in the country you are visiting so no fuss & no worries!
I may be wrong best bet is to ask ur provider!

It depends. If the phone is unlocked, then you can just switch sims. If the phone is locked, then no, another sim card will not work.

Even the iphone has to be unlocked. Pretty much any phone as this capacity as long as it is unlocked.
