Black to Orange

I used revlon ultra light blonde on my hair and it turned orange…Would it be better to use hydr’ peroxide to bleach it…Would it ruin or damage my hair or how would you go about with this procedure?

uhm dont use that.

what you should use is platinumblonde #40v (which is the lightest blonde it can go I think) but that’s if you want it platinum blonde. but your just going to have to bleach it and then color it the color you wanted unless you like the brightness of the white color :D :P

I used that and my hair turnd orange to but using peroxide isnt a very wonderful idea you should get hair dye that is like a small shade darker than the bleached outcome of your hair and dye it because it will not look orange

I’m a huge fan of dying my own hair but I do not suggest going blonde on your own. Going blond has many steps including toning your hair to get it the right colour. A professional will be able to do this for you, and is especialy helpful when it comes to toning different parts of your hair b/c there will be dark and light spots. Also my one hair dresser told me box colour has metal in it, which is why it always has that brassy look when you go lighter.
