How far are you from your birthplace? I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico but live in North Carolina.

Answer #1

About 2 1/2 hours. I’m in Stillwater for school, but I was born in Lawton, OK. My husband and I were both born there, and we lived 45 seconds away from each other :) We didn’t meet until we were 17 though. Crazy Lawton making us all blind to each other…lol

Answer #10

I guess I forgot how far is Puerto Rico..Well getting to San Juan by plane is around 4 to 5 hours. But that is only half the fun. My parents live in the middle of the island so I rent a car and take some twisty perilous roads and and get there around 2 hours later. Is very dangerous and you find cattle on the road sometimes. Also there is lots of crime and some of the most crazy and rude drivers in the world this side of italy. Speed limits, turn signals or general driving laws are only obeyed by tourist.

Answer #18

I left at 5 months, but I revisited later when my father was re-assigned to Germany. Much of Europe is very old. Some buildings are many hundreds of years old - some are thousands. It was really interesting and the people were very friendly. So I guess I would say the people are similar, the buildings not at all.
