Birthcontrol weight gain

Ok so I started yaz and I’ve gained 5 pounds and have crazy cravings. My boobs are uncomfortably to big. Is there anything I can do about this instead of switching birthcontrols? Or to reverse it so I loose weight

Different pills cause different side effects with women, you may want to shop around and try another one. My wife went through about 3 different kinds before she found the right one.

Yasmin is one of the heavier birthcontrol pills…try switching to a different lighter one, some people just have different effects on different pill and there won’t be much you can do (except changing pills)

It can be difficult to find the right birth control pill I was on one type…and I had a period none stop for THREE WEEKS. Yeah, very annoying. The pill doesnt actually cause weight gain It increases appitite… Therefore you eat more. Try to stick to a health balanced diet and control your craving for sweets and stuff. 5 pounds is nothing. I’ve been on birth control for around 8 months now… and I’ve gained 9 pounds because I love my food too much and I have to give inot my cravings Admittedly, it was amuch needed 9 pounds… but any way. Dont worry about you weight. Most birth control pills increase appetite so you are just going to have to watch what you eat.
