Birth Control question!

So I’ve been on birth control for about 2 and a half years, but about 3 months ago I switched over the a new brand. (not really relavent but oh well)… My periods are super irregular so my packs don’t always match up…..my period always exceeds the 5 placebo pills, or I have to go a week or 2 into the next pack before I get my next period. MY QUESTION IS: if my packs don’t match up, then does the birth control still work?!

That’s weird, your birth control should regulate your period. You should ask your Gyno about it to get a definite answer because that doesn’t seem right.

Switching your brand of BC pills could be VERY relevant to this problem. Talk to a knowledgeable professional - OB/GYN doctor or nurse about this. Take Care of yourself, and Good Luck!!
