How did I get pregnant?
I have been on birth control since December of 08’, and here it is September of 09 and I am pregnant. I have taken my pills faithfully everyday, period comes on time because it has been regulated due to the pills, but how did I get pregnant. Also, I am not ready. It is stressing me out, pshycologically, physically, and mentally. I had a plan, and now I can not move forth with my plan and goals because I got pregnant from birthcontrol. What do I do, what do you suggest? What effect can it have on the baby since I was taking BC’s while pregnant?
I dont know if you’ve considered abortion as an option, it is up to you. Then there’s adoption. Then of course, there’s keep it. It boils down to what you want to do. We cant suggest or tell you what to do. This is your life. You have to decide what is best for you. I’d talk to someone at planned parenthood. They can give you unbiased information on all your options, and tell you the effects of birth control on a fetus.
the guy was a jerk, dont listen to him. The doctor who gave you birthcontrol was supposed to inform you that its not 100% effective on preventing pregnancy. you should of been SUPER carefull and still have used a condom. I know this isn’t what you wanted to hear but a BC is just like a condom…99% chance of not geting pregnant. you just happened to be that 1%…im super sorry this happened to you…
Hmm.. Did you know that BC is NOT 100% effective even if taken faithfully? Theres still a SLIGHT change of pregnancy using BC… and lo and behold, you’ve gotten yourself pregnant. Congrats.
