Biracial hair question?

I have a 6 yr old biracial daughter. She has very sensitive skin and scalp. sometimes she gets really flaky dry hair, what product is best for her? Her hair isnt nappy, but silky curly. Very pretty when not flaky. What should I use and how often?

Hey girl you can use 3 things first get Paul Mitchell shampoo and cond…and then you can use Baby dont bald its a hair and scalp nourishment but its ok to use it prevents dryness its not just 4 bald babies,Softee bergamot hair dress and Johnson products Ultra Sheen its green and it say For extra dry hair. Wash her hair once a week .

My daughter are biracial..and they both have to use different hair lotion cause their hair is so different..I would recommend you try the different hair lotion products with conditioner until you find one that helps make her hair more manageable…this is what is had to do with both my girls…one uses BB oil moisturizing lotion and the other uses profectiv mega growth growth lotion…I know this my seem costly but it is really the only way to find the right product…I don’t however recommend “grease” type products they are to heavy and greasy…try the lotions first…also use lots of conditioner both rinse out and leave in it will really help

I have a biracial daughter. As a single dad, what helps for me is to wash her hair often, generally every other day. Also, without fail, it has to be brushed and plaited before she goes to bed, or I’ll spend 30 minutes doing it in the morning.

Then a brush with a few widely spaced bristles, followed up by a smaller brush with tiny closely spaced bristles. I also use some of the natural sprays that are mostly water, to help make the brushing.

She has quite beautiful hair thats just about down to her waist now, but because its so fine and silky, its a pain in the a$$ to get it brushed and ready for school in the morning :-)

I know how to wash, brush and braid her hair and it doesnt take long to do, I need to know what products will stop the flaking without making it so oily or dirty looking b/c she has very sensitive skin and scalp. if I wash her hair to often it dries up even more. thanks for all the advise every1

RAKELANDFLOWER: thank you. I have tried many products, pink, pink spray, pink lotion, various oils & lotions. I’ve tried different shampos&conditioners too. j&johnson makes a shampo for babies cradle cap that helps a little. another prob that she has is when I DO use all these oils and lotions, her hair looks really dirty anyways, thanks again I’ll keep trying:)

Try the palmers new cocnut oild shampoo and products. It is made for all races but works very well on my sons hair, he is tri-racial. (Black, white, & mexican)
