Help me with best friend trouble?

well I’ve been friend with naomi forever. we hated eachother in elemantary but we have been besties for live 3 years now. we are both always the center of attention, both have the same sense of humor, both love messing around… we’re so much alike. but last month she started being friends with this girl marissa. I don’t really care for missa but we grew up together (all went to the same school) and I don’t have a problem with her. ut ever since they’ve become friends I feel really neglected. naomi never sits by me, she’s always ignoring me when she’s with marissa and then when missa’s gone she loves me again. it seems like I’ve been thrown away and I know if I say anything she isn’t going to care because sh’e not into the emotional crap, and I’m not either. I really don’t get why they are so close, marissa is shy and clumsy, the kind of girl naomi used to make fun of. I think she just likes her because she is rich and will do whatever she wants her to. how can I get over this if we’ve been friends for so long? what should I do?? am I over reacting?

My advice to you is, try and find some other friends. Because this friend Naomi obviously doesn’t care about you anymore. It looks as though she is just using you for when Marissa is around. That’s what happened to me when I first started boarding school. But I made other friends quickly and I still have them close to me today, and I no longer hang out with the girls that used me. So try it. It might work. It did for me!! Good luck!
