Best Friend moving to Florida

My best friend in the whole wide world just moved today to Florida. It is about 20 hours away from my house. Her mom just got remarried to a photographer who had a job transfer. Five months ago, she was supposed to be moving to England, but they wanted to stay in the US. Her stepdad’s employer let them stay here in Wheaton. But then plans changed again and she was moved to Florida. We went to Church, the mall, and every other place together. Now I’m really upset that she is gone. We can IM eachother and talk on our phones, but I won’t see her. Today I am going to the mall, our favorite place to go together, alone. How can I get over not seeing her for 5 years. And since she is older then me, we probaly won’t hang out.

u can make a date 2 go to florida and visit and I know how you feel my friend moved to utah last year and we lived in the same apartment and did everything together. its hard but we do everything we can think of to keep in touch we even write letters to eachother and send pics of eachother

I live in florida <333 amazing place. the beaches are great. you should be happy for her. keep in contact. one day you will see each other again.and it will be the most amazing reunion. but until then. make new friends. and become closer with the ones you already have. and nvr forget her.

I know how you feel. Because of my dad’s job I haven’t seen my best friend for 5 years now. But because you are best friends staying in touch shouldn’t be a problem. In my opinion challenges strengthen relationships whether its love or its a friendship. And being farther apart makes your reunion that much better. I know its hard just stay in contact and you’ll be ok.

I just moved to Florida and basicly lost contact with a lot of my good friends in Texas. I think the best thing that you could do is just keep talking. Like on the phone not just IM or text it helps to hear your friends voice. and visit as much as you can. odds are she hasnt met too many people yet and she would love the company. Just stay in touch and dont fight :P and you guys will be alright.
