Who Believes In Lonq Distance Relashionships ?

Do these Relashionships Works Out Or Its Jst A Waste Of Time ?

Answer #1

i dont

Answer #2

I believe it works. But as with any relationship, it takes two people to work. I think a Long Distance relationship can actually build more trust than a short distance relationship because you rarely see the person. You have to put more trust into them that they’re not out snooping when they’re gone. I think that, in the end, it can work out if you really do care and don’t take it as a waste of time.

Besides, this is 2010, people meet each other online now, we have dating sites, even marriage sites.

Answer #3

yes, i beleive they can work. the key to them working is constant communication. talk to each other all the time about everything

Answer #4

it can work. absolutely. it requires a lot of communication, just like any relationship, and it requires that you trust each other, everything you need in a relationship with someone you see every day. jyuun has a good point, about it actually building up your trust and stuff. i know from experience, its worked for me. ive grown a lot closer to people i almost never see but am really close to, thx to constant emailing. =)

Answer #5

if its love, nothing can break it, but if its not love, you cant guarantee you’ll survive in a long distance relathionship, so yes and no

Answer #6

i do. my boyfriend’s going into the army.

Answer #7

I do damn straight

Answer #8

I do

Answer #9

i believed in long distance relationships but in the end it just tore me apart because i felt like i loved him [we dated for like 3 and a half years] and all i kept thing about was that i would most likely not get to see him and i just cried everyday. even though i liked him alot i had to end it because of the pain so no i don’t.

Answer #10

I’m sorry to hear that. It can still work, if the both of you were just a tad bit older. Maybe then it would have turned out differently.

Answer #11

yea that’s true

Answer #12

Of course it’s true. I’m sure that if you were my age, you would have been more inclined to visit each other because at your age, it seems very unlikely that your parents would let you see this boy.

Answer #13

yea, but he lived all the way pretty much across the united states so I don’t know if it would’ve ever worked out though.

Answer #14

My girlfriend lived in VA, which is a 421 mile drive from my state. I had plans to go there before I left to the Marines, but she broke up so the trip is off. It would have worked out, trust me. There would havebeen a way for you two to be together. :D

Answer #15

But he lives in Texas and i live all the way up in Ohio, are you sure about that? :(

Answer #16

Yes, it would have. If you two loved each other, you two would have waited for the perfect moment. :) Did you break up recently or was this years ago? Because if you still want him, you two may have a chance again. The only reason why we ended was because her family didn’t want a Jew(she was Muslim).

Answer #17

it was recently but im too afraid to even tell him i still like him and everything. awhh! im sorry to hear that happened :(

Answer #18

It’s fine, it’s been 2 months almost and I’m pretty sure she’s happier than she was before. Don’t be afraid to tell him. Just simply call/IM/ write to him and say to him that you will be willing to make it work. If that’s what you two really want of course. If he refuses, then it’s his loss.

Answer #19

okayy thanks (:

Answer #20

I believe in them My boyfriend and i have been together 2 years and 1 month and most of it was long distance.
