Beat making

As some may know,Rappers use a beat machine to make there beats that you hear in their song,while in the Rock,Metal,etc. category they make their beats with the skills they were tought,what do you think is better between a beat machine or making them yourself?

neither is better just different sounds , both work and can be fantastic but my preference would be for rock beats

Well, considering that in rock music, actual live musicians provide the music, that just works. In rap, it is inconvenient to have a musician to go with each rap group; most rap is just techno with words spoken to it. There’s no “better,” there’s just what works. Metal can use a beat machine too; I.e. Psyclon 9, Combichrist, NIN, etc.

I think using both is a bit better incase you dont have the right beats & such.
