Basketballs new name for the supersonics?

Does anyone else find it completely ridiculous that the Seattle SuperSonics are now the Oklahoma City Thunder? What kind of screwed up name is that..??

Well, when they are winning the fans can now cheer something like, “We bring the THUNDER!”

And it is very sad that we lost them, they were our only pro team to win a championship, sadly before I was born…

arsenal, it was the best choice that was provided by the powers that be. sorry you don’t like it but we are very excited to have them here, and think about it like this, super sonic produces a clap of thunder when it happens. let the thunder roll!

I does sound like something from a terrible high school movie, but what’s done is done. Perhaps it will start to grow on people or maybe the team will get so motivate and mad at the name they will go all the way…lol. Who knows?

Haha yeah I guess you guys are right. Hopefully they do well in Oklahoma =] Seattle sure will miss them though.
