The “hold” that someguyjosh is speaking of is the one the Dog Whisperer uses…the fingers represent “teeth”, and this does work…and this is the type of case the Dog Whisperer excells at.

Go to the National Geographic Channel site, and search out Dog Whisperer clips…you’ll see how he discourages this type of behavior without much more than a leash, a collar…and a unique “SHHHSTTT”!!! sound…and consistant discipline.

my dogs a yorkie. he does the same thing! lol..so weird…and annoying.

watch the dog whisperer, ceasar milan has great techniques, and he knows how dogs think…

you are the pack leader to a dog of corse you need to show him hey im the pack leader and I say stop it.I saw on a show once that if you put the hand around the neck and you squeese and drive the thumb in to the neck not hard but not to soft either(get him on the ground first though)what the dog thinks is that the thumb is the k9 tooth and you get him in to a mode where she/he says hey this pack leader is mad at me I better stop what im doing…good luck!!!

Terriers were bread as rodent hunters back in them iddle ages. They don’t make really good house dogs, actually.

I dunno, get a water gun and soak her, and I mean SOAK, every time she does it? Works on our cats, they learn after a cuople weeks.
