Ibuprofen or naproxen will probably help more than Tylenol or Aspirin. Simply because both Naproxen and Ibuprofen are anti-inflammatory medications which reduce swelling (which I am guessing there is a bump where you hit it.) Along with the Ibuprofen or Naproxen use an ice pack, that will help get the bump to go away faster. If the Ibuprofen does not help (with taking the indicated amount) taking 3 (600mg) or 4 (800mg) will typically work. Both the 600mg and 800mg are prescription strength amounts. Or if you are still a little concerned, call your local pharmacy and ask the Pharmacist. I find that Pharmacists know a bit more than most doctors. Yes, doctors know what they are talking about too, but Pharmacists know a lot more about the medications since that’s what they specialized in. Medical Doctors know more of a variety of things since they have to deal with more. Pharmacists are doctors, they go to school as long as medical doctors do. So yeah, any questions I ever have about meds I call my Pharmacist, who is also the one that got me to go to college to be one myself. Good Luck! Hope your head feels better!!
