Could I have a band but still act as if it's solo?

I only need a band for background music while I’m playing guitar. What I mean by treated as a solo singer, is where I use my stage name rather than have a band name, I’m the center of attention like all solo singers and the “band” is just background for me. Could I do that? P.S. You may think it’s selfish, but some people don’t want de spotlight anyway.

Answer #1

Sure. Secondhand Serenade is a one man band. The guy’s name is John Vesley. He has a touring band, but they’re not part of his act; they’re just in the background. He’s just like a singer with a band name.

Answer #3
