I've never danced in MY LIFE or any other sport for that matter and in a couple weeks im doing ballet 4 with my friend. the lowest is ballet 3 but im not doingit cause I dont wanna be alone. is there anything I HAVE to know for this class? or any comments are greatt. thanks. (:(:
try to stretch a LOT. =] being flexible helps a TON. =] also, work on body strength. =] ESPECIALLY upper body strength. =] I mean, lower body strength is important too, but upper body is a MAJOR factor. =] holding your arms up in a O shape above your head for 3 minutes is NOT as easy as it looks... lol. =]
You don't have to know how to stand on your tip toes if you are taking regular ballet. If you are taking it at that level you should be fine. You may want to stretch once a day and hold your arms up so it'll be easier. But I've taken Ballet since I was 3 and at that low of a level it won't be hard at all.
I have danced for 9 years. and all youu have ta do in ballet is stretch HEAPS before you get there. keeps yur toes pointed keep yur moves really neat have great strong posture and keep yur head up. Just Have Fun With It (: it might come naturally to you xx
theres to know that is not hard! I know when you see it its hard but its not! I have danced it and took classes! the hardest part tat may seem is standing on your tips and spinning and jumping but after a couple of times its all gud!
