Baby Shower

My mom is hosting a baby shower for me and is inviting my closest friends and family, however, my neighbor who lives across the street told my husband that she would like to be invited. How should we handle this situation?

Invite her but say because of numbers she cant bring a guest. Ask her if thats ok.

I have considered inviting her, however, my worry is that she will bring another neighbor lady who is her close friend and is not nice to me at all.
