Like Janicee said, the instant type or ramen isn't great. A fair amount of fat (often saturated or trans fats) is used in the manufacture process. Ramen is a wheat noodle but there are other types of noodles used in Asian cooking. Rice and buckwheat noodles are both a very tasty change of pace and are healthier than instant noodles.
