Audio Driver Help?

I guess while clearing my computer of files I deleted the sound driver for my computer. I redownloaded them but when I tried to install them I got an error:

String SIGMATEL_ERROR_UpdateDriverForPnPDevice was not found in string table.

Can someone help figure out what I need to do?

r you using a sound card or motherboard built on?

whats it called?

if its built onto the mobo windows update will usally find it

When I did that on accident I ended up using driver update software, simply because it was the easiest solution for me. There are ways you can fix this problem manually, I’m just not exactly sure what they are.
