Are women really smarter and more mature?
You hear it a lot, that females mature faster than guys, and women often pride themselves on being the smarter, or at least wiser, gender.
I think that view has no real basis in reality. Women can be pretty daft, and downright stupid. Consider the attraction to the bad boy. Look how many females say they are attracted to bad boys. Even though it’s universally known that bad boys are not suitable long term mates, and that they put women through enormous grief, many women still prefer the challenge and thrill of dating a bad boy. This is a sign of immaturity, of inability to separate hormones from good judgment. It’s not a sign of maturity.
So I challenge the standing view that women are more mature. I think women simply mature in different ways, but just as slowly as guys. We also have our share of crazy, ridiculous behavior. Thoughts?
I think woman mature faster than men - there are different perspectives though.
women go through puberty before men so yes they do mature faster and in school they care more about grades so I guess they are smarter
I as a Male cared greatly about my grades all through schooling-(was in the top 3GPA 5’th through the 8’Th grade. Females are often more intelligent from Middle through Jr. High school primarily because the female body and mind matures at a faster/earlier rate then that of the average male during this time period. average male during this time period.
