Are there ways to get your gpa up outside of school? I want to take dual enrollment classes but I don't know. I really want to get my gpa up to a 4.0 but now it's a 3.31. I'll take them if they count as like ap classes like where an A=5 B=4 etc. do they. and are there other ways to pull up my gpa. I'm taking all 4 ap classes and 1 pre-ap class. by the time I get out of high school I am going to have a 3.97. I need someting to add .3 so I can be an honor graudate at my school. (please don't tell me that have a 3.5 makes you and honor graduate. it doesn't at my school. only having a 4.0)
You guidance counselor would be the BEST person to talk to about this one ---
I've never heard of a school having honors ONLY being a 4.0, so there may be other things unique that we can't know because we don't go there.
I'm sure that off-school year classes help, but it's been my experience that most places dont offer AP classes during the summer as much as they offer regular programs for those that did not do well during the year.
I really recommend your school guidance person to direct you correctly on this one.
