Do americans of today have more rights then the past or are our rights slowly going away whats your thought?
we definatly have more rights today!!! no they are not going away if anything we get more!! its just people dont exercise them but they sure want to sit around and make sure they get them!!! and those are m why thoughts!!
whats with all the american history and government questions?? not that I dont mind them because I was a history major and I love talking about it!!
Less...FAR less...Hell, the government even wants to tell ya what kind of dog you can have...and that's just a minor thing...Things have gotten MUCH tighter than it was 40 years ago...I know...I was there.

It depends. American society is more regulated now, so in some ways Americans are less free. In other ways, they have far more freedom than their ancestors did.
Things have gotten much worse over the last 7 years. The assault on our civil liberities has not been this bad since the McCarthy era.
