Why is it by Timbaland if he doesn't sing it?

Its Timbaland ft. One Republic because the version of the song that we see in the video and hear on the radio is actually Timbalands mix of the song that he produced and stuff. The original version of the song is on One Republic’s c.d and it doesn’t say Timbaland

I figured it was because he produced it, but since when does the producer come first in the artist title, but if its on his cd that makes more sense. but its kinda lame.

cause he PRODUCED it duh. and one republci just sings in it. & he is in the song. eh goes… eh eh eh. duh! :D

because he produced the song which the song will be on his album

I think its One Republic feat. Timbaland..he just does the eh eh eh thing.

Maybe he wrote the song.
