AOL/Vista/IE Problem

Hi. I’m not sure if this is a Vista, AOL or Internet Explorer problem, but maybe someone out there has experienced the same problem and can help. When I am at AOL’s website and I close IE, IE appears to close, but then about 15 versions of AOL in small windows immediately open up on my Vista desktop. This does not happen every time, just once in a while.

Any help out there?

Any techie will ask you three important questions: Are you set on using AOL? Are you set on using IE? What is your Firewall/Antivirus protection? AOL has better Mozilla support. Everything is better with Mozilla firefox actually. If you can use this as your default browser, you will be half way to correcting the problem. See if you can reproduce the problem in Firefox. If not, you are golden.
