Does anyone know this 70's or 80's rock song?

Remember hearing it late 70’s or early 80’s, song by a male, kind of goes like this..

Oh I, I joined a rock and roll band…did it for the money (someone repeats “money”), did it for the time of my life…did it for the rush and thrill….to see my name in lights….Oh I, I joined a rock and roll band…yes I did…(then guitar solo).

kind of had bob seger / zz top voice

OOOHHH I was close.

It is by Great White, not White Lion. Both hair bands, though and both have white in the title.

…My, my, my, once bitten, twice shy baby…repeat…

Once Bitten Twice Shy…I can’t remember the band…White Lion did this song, I think. Was it a remake? Someone help me out here. I am POSITIVE that the song is Once Bitten Twice Shy.

I started singing the song as soon as I read the partial lyrics. I love that song.

Answer #3

The only ‘Great White’ album I liked was “Sail Away” …it was…sincere.

Answer #4
