I'm trying out for cheerleader this upcoming school year and I just wanted to know if anyone had any tips on streches, how to practice jumps, what to expect in tryouts, and what to do in tryouts. If anyone could help that would be great! :)
I'm not a cheerleader anymore but I was for 4 years. Make sure you stretch your legs out a lot try and do splits you may not see the difference when you are doing them but when you go to do your jumps you will see a big difference. during try outs just take your time and smile and if you have to do cheers during the try outs make sure they can hear you and your not like standing back and holding back give it your all.

mmkay. I just had my tryouts a couple monthsago and its easier then you think. I would just suggest you stretch every night before you go to bed or whatever is the best time for you. and when you go to your tryout make sure you smile. if you dont then they deduct a LOT of points and just always have a positive attitude. and im sure you will do great.
