Can you answer this question about african american girls self tanning?
I’ve read that on dark skinned people different results are achieved: it gives you a glow, evens out your skin tone and brings out your natural undertones. Is this true? do you go much darker or is it a subtle change?
If you think about it, it’s just dye. I assume that if your skin has darker pigmentation than the dye then it should go lighter, like if you dye your hair. I’ve never thought about this before.. I’m sure as hell not an expert, but it seems as though that would be the given effect. Good luck with that :)
Self-tanner isn’t a dye and it most certainly won’t make you lighter. I assume that it’s very individual. To find out how it works on you, then you should try it!
