an extra day bcaws of snow day!!!:(

omgee I hate my school nex week we have to stay at school till 300 but we get out at 2:17 becawz school was out bcawz of a snow day last feb. did this happen 2 any body else???

The buses can’t run when the roads aren’t plowed, or if it’s too cold.

Sorry, I should have been more specific…snow days are not made up where I live, lol

some schools have extra days they can waste. My school for instance. Because we got to school longer everyday then most schools we can take all that extra time and make “snow days” with them. We have 5 snow days a year. if we have to miss more then 5 days then we will make it up by adding extra days at the end of the school year. every school yea has to be a certain amount of days. most schools are 180days but if your school has those “snow days” then you can have a few exceptions

Snow days aren’t usually “made up”…when a snow day is declared, the day is lost.

Snow days are something that are well prepared for up here in northern Canada.
