  Hi,

  The medical recommendation for someone of your height is 125 - 164 lb. However, personally, I think a guy who is 5'8'' and 125 lbs would look weirdly skinny and scrawny.

  If you lift weights also, it will give you muscle which does weigh more than fat. I would try to get down to the high end of the medical recommendation--165-ish.
